Video content is captured using DayPort’s Carbon Publish suite of applications. The captured content is then made available to the producers via a web based interface. Carbon Publish gives WFMZ’s producers the ability to choose video clips that they would like to broadcast on their web site, and which video clips should be leveraged to generate alternate video content formats for distribution to other devices. WFMZ is leveraging this feature to make the station’s video content available for Podcasting.
