Jump for Fun Provides Total Party Management with New Website from i5 Web Works

Southlake, Texas (PRWEB) May 27, 2008 -- Jump for Fun opened for business at 375 Commerce Street, here, May 24 with more than 16,000 square feet of floor space, a dozen jaw-dropping inflatables for bouncing, sliding, climbing and running - and parties already booked online.

Kids love bounce houses, but even a casual look makes it clear Jump for Fun is in a whole different class. It is a state-of-the-art indoor playground and party center unlike any other. Children squeal with delight at the sight of one inflatable in particular, a 20-foot-high octopus wrestling a sailing ship, ala Pirates of the Caribbean.

The huge room presents a collection of strange and wonderful inflatables in non-traditional shapes, brilliant colors and enough "Wow!" to fill a stadium. A Batman obstacle course presents the Caped Crusader in a bigger-than-life setting, while the Ultimate Module Challenge engages both brain and body.

Jump for Fun is the creation of Northeast Tarrant County residents Jeff and Theresa Vanderpool. An engineer and former telecom executive, Jeff Vanderpool was impressed by the way bounce houses thrilled his grandchildren and their friends at parties. He figured a fixed location would offer customers far greater variety and a chance to host parties outside the home in a safe, controlled environment.

"I thought having a fixed location was an original idea," Vanderpool said, "but I soon discovered not only had it been done before, there were even franchises available."

The Vanderpools studied the full range of business models, franchises and equipment and concluded they could do a better job starting from scratch. As excitement about the project grew, their three grown children became part owners with active roles running the business. A second location will open in Flower Mound July 4th weekend.

A highly interactive Website is at the heart of the Vanderpools' business model. "Parents of young children today use the Internet to buy everything from cameras to cars," Vanderpool said. "We designed this from the ground up to save time for busy parents."

Vanderpool said customers can schedule the date and time for a party, then manage every detail online, including sending electronic invitations, ordering food, tracking RSVPs and gifts received, as well as sending thank you notes.

For family members who take less active roles in the parties, such as big brothers or sisters, Jump for Fun offers a TV room with satellite service, flat screen television and free WiFi connectivity.

Carita Weaver and Michael Burns, i5 web works co-founders, said the Jump for Fun Website is a great example of how businesses can use a strong online presence to drive customers to a brick and mortar location.

"Nearly any fixed-location business owner can look at the Jump for Fun site and begin to see new possibilities for their own business," Weaver said. "The key is to look for ways to make it easier for your customers to do business with you, and Jump for Fun does that very well."
